men's lunch

This is a recent initiative of a few active men, beginning in September 2022 with Rev. Dr. Dale Skinner, who served as interim supply minister at Woodlawn United.

The lunches are held monthly in Room D (behind the new kitchen) of our Fellowship Hall at noon on the third Thursday. The menu is simple: soup, sandwiches, tea, coffee, and often cookies from Burnell Field and Bernie Schultz, all for $10 (ten dollars). We generally have as many as 20 - 25 in attendance.

It's mainly about fellowship and conversation, from which some sort of loose agenda and directed discussion could easily evolve. In fact, it has evolved; and now we hear regularly from Ralph Sams and Rev. Kevin Little.
